Guangyang Secondary School is a government secondary school in Singapore. It was merged with Braddell-Westlake Secondary School in 2006. The school is currently a co-ed, single session school, located in Bishan.
School crest
It reflects the aspiration of our students towards illuminating the world with their radiance, like the dawn of the rising sun over the vast ocean.
The exuding energy of the sun brings life and growth, radiating with integrity, courage and steadfastness.
The perpetuating Guangyang spirit guides us confidently into the future to contribute to society - by making an impact to lives and excelling in all our pursuits.
The colours of the school crest are gold and blue. Gold represents Being Strong in Principles, while blue denotes Being Steadfast in Duty.
School uniform
There are two different school uniforms.
The old school uniform, featuring dark coloured stripes will be last worn by Secondary 4 students of 2015.
The new school uniform, allows students to wear it without tucking into their bermudas, trousers or skirts.
